Editorial rules
Six rules behind every review, use case, calculator and guide on this site.
1. Facts come from a source we can name
Vendor features, certifications and prices come from the vendor’s own documentation and our provider data. If a vendor does not document something, the page says “not listed”. We do not guess.
2. Singapore rules are checked against the rule itself
Statements about the PDPA, the Companies Act, SGX rules, MAS guidance, the Take-over Code, the Competition Act, GST or stamp duty are checked against the statute, regulation or official guidance named on the page. Rates and thresholds carry the date we checked them.
3. Numbers are computed, not typed
Scores, counts and prices in tables, figures and calculators are produced from the underlying data, so they stay consistent across pages.
4. Money does not move rankings
Commercial relationships never change a score, an order or the wording of a review. See the commission disclosure.
5. Readers come first
We write for deal professionals with limited time: direct answers first, plain English and no padding.
6. Mistakes are fixed quickly
Spotted an error? Tell us on the enquiries page. Factual corrections are made promptly and the page date is updated. Prices and features are rechecked every month.
