Running independent reviews costs money. Here is exactly where ours comes from.
Where the money comes from
SG Data Rooms has one source of income: referral commissions. A small number of links to vendor websites are tracked. When someone uses one of those links and goes on to subscribe, that vendor may pay SG Data Rooms a fee. Subscribers are charged nothing extra because of it.
How you can tell which links are tracked
Tracked links run through an address on this site that begins with /go/. That lets us see how often they are used. They carry rel="noopener". Any other link to a vendor goes straight to that vendor’s own site and carries rel="nofollow noopener".
Kept separate from the money
- Scores are calculated by the same formula for every product, set out on how we assess.
- Partners cannot buy a position in any ranking, use case list or finder result.
- Vendors cannot pay to be reviewed, compared, covered in a guide or left out of one.
- Editors write and update pages without input from vendors’ sales teams.
