Due diligence timeline
How it works
The estimate adds room preparation, due diligence and any regulatory review. Preparation grows when records are scattered; due diligence grows with the number of bidders because Q&A volume rises.
CCCS reviews are counted in working days: about six weeks for Phase 1 and around six months if a Phase 2 review follows. Public holidays such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya, and year-end audits, often add a week or two in practice.

Questions people ask
How long does due diligence take in Singapore?
For a typical mid-market private deal, six to ten weeks after the room opens. Small business sales can be done in three to four weeks; IPOs take several months.
What slows a Singapore deal down?
Disorganised records, unanswered Q&A, missing corporate resolutions, regional subsidiaries with records in other languages, and regulatory reviews.
When should the data room be ready?
Before the first bidders are invited. Opening a half-empty room sends a poor signal and creates a flood of requests.
